Ms Karen Reynolds
Ms Reynolds is an experienced educator, manager and school leader with over 20 years’ experience who promotes a positive and forward-thinking culture. She has a keen knowledge and understanding of effective pedagogy and promotes an inquiry and constructivist’s approach. Ms Reynolds believes teaching and learning to be a reciprocal and collaborative process that is learner-centred. Since joining the school as Teaching and Learning Co-ordinator in August 2018, Ms Reynolds has strived to improve teaching and learning and create a culture of continual improvement through the promotion of positive, open and respectful relationships. She enjoys being part of the Yew Wah family and being actively involved in classrooms working alongside students and teachers.
Ms Reynolds holds a Diploma of Teaching (Primary), Bachelor of Education, Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Leadership and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Waikato in New Zealand.
