With the effort of every YCIS and YWIES student, parent and teacher, Seeds of Hope Concert was successfully held on March 11, 2017. This concert was hosted by YWIES Shanghai Lingang and co-organised by other Yew Chung and Yew Wah schools in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Qingdao, Chongqing, Yantai and Silicon Valley in the US. Together we served the same goal of raising fund for “Seeds of Hope” charity fund to build Seeds of Hope Schools in impoverished areas.

Seeds of Hope Concert was held at Oriental Art Centre in Shanghai. With over 1500 parents and members of the audience coming to support the performance, it made the largest Seeds of Hope Concert ever. The excellent performance by over 200 YCIS and YWIES students and artists gained the applause of audience. This concert marked the beginning of 2017 Seeds of Hope charity project.

Apart from the wonderful performance, YWIES Shanghai Lingang also offered 75 pieces of students’ artwork for auction, hoping to raise fund for building Seeds of Hope schools. With 50 pieces of artworks successfully being sold out, it showed the great support of our guests to our schools.
